Evaluation and Statistics Reports
Abstinence education works! It is powerful. It brings results! Abstinence education is medically accurate. It is the presentation of medical facts and relevant statistics. Abstinence education presents the truth to our young people and our communities. Abstinence education encourages students to evaluate current information and make decisions that will positively impact the rest of their lives. When students practice abstinence until marriage, they are healthier, do better academically and live happier, more fulfilling lives. Their children are healthier and do better in almost all aspects of life. These facts prompted the bi-partisan U.S. government since 1996 when The Welfare Reform Act of 1996 was passed, to support abstinence and marriage education as being the best practice for the young people of the United States. With all the studies of the past fifty years, this is one thing we can agree on – our students deserve the best chance at a prosperous, healthy life and abstinence ‘til marriage will lead them in that direction.
