Meet the Staff at Relationships Under Construction
Catherine Wood - President of Relationships Under Construction (ATM Education)
Catherine oversees Relationships Under Construction and conducts Training Seminars, Teacher In-services and Parent Meetings. Catherine is the author of our curriculum, Relationships Under Construction for 6-12th grades. (See our E-Store)
Sara Sears - Community Relations Director
Sara informs and educates the community about Relationships Under Construction. Sara oversees the newsletter production and is involved in event planning. Sara also conducts a mentoring group for young women in a correctional facility.
Julie Smith - Program Coordinator
Julie oversees the RUC teachers, tracks classroom paperwork, and coordinates assemblies. She assists with our annual informational seminar and training seminars. Julie also teaches the RUC curriculum.
Karen Schwartz - Account Controller/Office Manager
Karen keeps the accounts and staff straight concerning our bookkeeping needs and human relations. She also serves as Office Manager.
Christena Mekkelsen - Support Technician/Purchasing Coordinator
Christena supports the staff computer needs, purchases supplies and oversees office flow. She designs all promotional pieces and materials, including our newsletter and curriculum power points.
Marcella Stoll - Administrative Coordinator
Marcella manages volunteers and keeps the data bases up to date. She keeps attendance for an average of 20-25,000 students served each year by RUC Teachers in the ABCD Attendance Data Base (see E-Store). She oversees the quarterly newsletter mailing, assists with events, and answers the phone.
RUC Teachers
RUC teachers present up to five sessions of Relationships Under Construction for 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade and up to eight sessions for high school students. Teachers also schedule assemblies, teacher in-services, parent meetings and other events.
